Alex Smith is a great manager, he is a very auld manager!

At 62 years of age, Alex Smith has turned United round, and we are now looking at 3rd force in Scotland. He has brought in players that has changed the whole course of the United future, and he deserves every inch of credit. Although, his tactics tend to amaze me, when he decides to play defensively against teams that we should beat.

His attacking style has brought popularity amongst times, but some times the auld man is slightly daft aswell, must be sumin to dae wae his long working brain!

He has given players second chances i.e Charlie Miller and Allan Smart, whom both had bad-boy tags down south, before Alex Smith gave them a lifeline on Tayside, and those, well, definetely one of those signings have paid off.

All Credit to the Auld Man, hopefully, his mentally daft tactics will lead United to more goals, rather than leaking them.

94 years have come and gone and we can safely say no season gone by has been a stressful one. Ha Ha, if you believe that, you’ll believe anything. Lets say for many years, United haven't made life very easy for themselves, But we do have the odd successful season! United have actually got a great track record in Europe, Beating giants such as Barcelona, Manchester United, Borrusia Monchen aye whatever ay! Anyways United have been to the UEFA Cup Final but unfortunately went down to Gothenburg, a memorable and talk able Final still. We also won the League at Dens Park 83. Boy I wish I was there, and the most recent trophy is the Scottish Cup which was won in 94.That day hangs in the heads of every United fan still, How Brewster hit the net and then How many weeks went by before the ref finally blew for Full Time. Lets hope we can bring more trophies to Tannadice in upcoming seasons!
